Cahoots is a multifaceted food service company based in Salmon Arm, BC. What began as a modest food truck rolling through the Kootenays has grown into a full-scale operation, now home to a bustling restaurant, an in-house bakery, and a thriving catering arm.

Our restaurant offers a full coffee program, hearty breakfasts, and fresh baking daily from our in-house bakery, Little Red Hen. Lunch features smoked-in-house proteins, seasonal vegetables, fresh salads and bowls, and daily breads made from scratch.

Catering remains close to our roots. From weddings and corporate functions to community gatherings and celebrations, we bring the same passion for fresh, local food to every event we serve. It is where we first found our rhythm and where we continue to thrive.

Cahoots and Little Red Hen joined forces through a shared passion for quality food and community. What began as a simple supplier relationship evolved into a full partnership, bringing Salmon Arm its first storefront bakery in years.

About Little Red Hen

Founded in 2006 on a North Broadview acreage, Little Red Hen Artisan Bakery is known for its wholesome, handmade breads, crackers, cookies, and granola. Every product is crafted with care using organic ingredients and no preservatives, ensuring nutritious, flavourful results.

Little Red Hen offers a wide variety of artisanal breads, specialty loaves, buns, crackers, cookies (including gluten-free options), granola, and pizza dough.

Stopped in for lunch and was genuinely impressed. My cappuccino was excellent, smooth and well made, the kind of coffee that immediately tells you they take the craft seriously.
For food, I had the smoked salmon open sandwich on dark rye bread with cream cheese, and it was outstanding. The salmon was more like gravlax than typical smoked salmon, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly suited to the rye. Portion size was solid too, satisfying without feeling heavy.
The setup is casual and easy: you order at the counter, then a server brings the food to your table. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a good, upbeat vibe.
If you’re in Salmon Arm and want a great coffee and a quality lunch, Cahoots is absolutely worth a stop.”
